‘They don’t have anywhere’: Dozens displaced following water damage at Hanover Twp. hotel; for many, the hotel is home

HANOVER TWP., Pa. – Dozens staying in a Lehigh County hotel were left looking for another place to sleep Friday night, following an incident that activated the hotel’s sprinkler system. Officials say the entire place was evacuated, and no one is able to go back until further repairs are made.

Beth Sipos was at Knights Inn Friday afternoon, checking in on one of her employees who she says is living there for now. She says that’s the case for many guests staying at the hotel in Hanover Township.

“People are going to be displaced and not have anywhere to go,” she said…
