‘Bigger than ever’: High demand leads popular vendor market to new Lehigh County spot

U. SAUCON TWP., Pa. – A destination for unique, locally made fashions, housewares, personal care products and more is set to reopen at a larger Lehigh Valley space later this month.

The downtown Allentown location of The Hive, a market carrying hand-crafted items from hundreds of Lehigh Valley area vendors, closed in late March at 21 N. Seventh St. (on the ArtsWalk) as the business expands further with a larger location at Promenade Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township.

The Hive’s original location at 27 E. Belvidere St. in Nazareth will continue to operate as normal, owner MaKayla Adams said.

The Hive’s new Promenade Saucon Valley location will hold a grand opening 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 26 between Red Robin and American Eagle. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 10 a.m…
