Allentown bar dispute leads to stabbing, police dispersing ‘unruly crowd’

A woman was stabbed early Sunday during a dispute at an entertainment venue in Allentown, city police said.

Allentown Assistant Chief of Police Support Services James Gress said the incident began around 12:30 a.m. at Tipsy’s Bar & Lounge, 462 Union Blvd.

Investigators found what they described as an “unruly crowd” that needed to be dispersed. A woman was found suffering from a laceration and officers rendered aid, Gress said…
