The Democratic candidates for Northampton County executive verbally sparred over failing to come through on federal grants and other issues during a debate Wednesday evening.
The questions and answers were biting give-and-takes, as Tara Zrinski and Amy Cozze got to ask each other two questions during the hourlong forum, hosted by Lehigh Valley Public Media at SteelStacks in south Bethlehem.
In one exchange, Zrinski asked Cozze, who was an outreach director for former U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, if she felt she had “delivered” on bringing in federal grants; according to Zrinski, the county received only $8 million when it applied for $50 million…
