Just around 7:11 a.m. on March 2 last year, an eastbound Norfolk Southern Railway (NS) train collided with the rear of stationary NS train on main track 2 on the Allentown Road Subdivision on the Lehigh Line near Easton, Pennsylvania.
As a result of the first collision, the eastbound train derailed three railcars which then covered the adjacent main track.
