Allentown School District parents, staff call for more spending on special education

An Allentown School District budget discussion this week featured questions about the stability of federal funding and calls for greater investment in special education.

The forum Thursday drew more than 100 parents, district staff and community members to Hays Elementary School to hear how the district put together its $481.5 million, no tax increase budget for 2025-26.
