A regional food collection effort is returning for its second year, aiming to address hunger during a traditionally challenging time for food pantries.
The Summer Harvest Food Drive will run throughout July across Lehigh, Northampton and Monroe counties in Pennsylvania and Warren County in New Jersey. Organizers launched the initiative “because our neighbors are hungry year round” and food pantry supplies typically dwindle during summer months.
