Hellertown Man Will Remain In Custody Pending Trial On Firearms Charges

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ.- A 60-year-old Hellertown, Pennsylvania, man, and previously convicted felon will remain detained in the Warren County Correctional Center, pending trial, after being charged late last month with unlawfully possessing a handgun that was found in his vehicle following a motor vehicle crash.
According to Acting Warren County Prosecutor Jessica L. Cardone, on Sunday, May 25, 2025, shortly around 4:45 a.m., New Jersey State Troopers from the Perryville Barracks responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a motor vehicle that had run off the roadway into the woods.
Upon Arrival State Troopers Find Handgun In Engine Compartment Of Car
Upon arrival, State Troopers located the vehicle and the driver, identified as Vincent S. Noel, 60, of Hellertown, Pennsylvania, was transported to St. Luke’s Anderson Campus for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
