‘Difficult decision’: Lehigh Valley cat lounge, thrift store set to close

EASTON, Pa. – A unique venue – offering adoptable cats and thrift store finds such as clothing and housewares – is bidding farewell in Northampton County.

Project Paw, a thrift store and cat lounge featuring adoptable cats, will close on Saturday, June 28, at 452 Northampton St. in Easton, according to storefront signage and an announcement on Project Paw’s Facebook page.

Hours this week will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The Center for Animal Health & Welfare, which has been committed to finding permanent homes for homeless cats and dogs in the Lehigh Valley since 1913, opened the downtown Easton venue about three years ago to supplement its main location on Island Park Road in Williams Township…
