A quiet afternoon at Core Creek Park turned grim on July 4 when a Tesla was found submerged in Lake Luxembourg, claiming the life of a man whose identity has not yet been released by the Bucks County Coroner’s Office.
The recovery operation, which lasted several hours, was led by Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company Chief Frank Farry. “It was a long and extensive operation,” Farry said in a statement. According to him, emergency crews were first alerted at 4:27 p.m. by a kayaker who spotted the vehicle about 300 feet from shore near the boat ramp off Tollgate and Fulling Mill roads. By the time responders reached the scene using a borrowed George School boat, the Tesla had been underwater for hours. The driver was found deceased inside the vehicle.…
