The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) recently announced that resurfacing operations are planned on several state highways in Montgomery, Bucks, and Philadelphia counties under several ongoing projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway across the five-county region.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, July 14, through Friday, July 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Linfield Trappe Road between Township Line Road and Main Street in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, for milling, paving, and utility construction.
- Monday, July 14, through Friday, July 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a weekday lane closure with flagging will be in place on Route 413 (Durham Road) between Dark Hollow Road and U.S. 202 in Bedminster, Buckingham, and Plumstead townships, Bucks County, for milling, paving, and utility construction.
- Monday, July 21, through Thursday, July 31, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a weeknight lane closure will be in place on sections of Verree Road between Red Lion Road and Oxford Avenue in Philadelphia for milling.
- Monday, July 21, through Thursday, July 31, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a weeknight lane closure will be in place on sections of Rising Sun Avenue between Route 73 (Cottman Avenue) and U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) in Philadelphia for milling.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
