Neighbors on Rickert Road were alarmed to discover 89-year-old Anne Turner unresponsive inside her home on Thursday evening, July 10, a death now under homicide investigation by Hilltown Township police. According to an official press release, officers and investigators from the Bucks County Detectives unit responded to the 2500 block of Rickert Road at approximately 7:20 PM after a neighbor found Ms. Turner lying on the living room floor.
An autopsy report from the Bucks County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Turner, a lifelong Bucks County resident, sustained two gunshot wounds to the chest and back, ruling her death a homicide.
