A 29-year-old Muhlenberg Township resident is facing multiple felony charges following a drug trafficking investigation conducted by the Berks County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force.
Authorities identified the suspect as Sandrew Gonzalez, of the 2600 block of Kutztown Road. Following a two-month investigation into suspected drug sales in the township, detectives executed a search warrant on Gonzalez and his residence on the morning of July 18.
According to the District Attorney’s Office, detectives seized a significant quantity of narcotics and related paraphernalia from the home, including: A marijuana growing operation with tents, lighting, and other equipment. Over two pounds of bulk marijuana. Approximately 10 grams of cocaine. A small amount of crack cocaine. Ninety-seven suspected fentanyl pills. Nine suspected amphetamine pills.
