A Whitehall Township man is charged with kidnapping and raping an intoxicated woman after taking her from a bar to a secluded area, according to a news release from investigators.
His attorney, however, says the sex was consensual.
The release from the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office says 42-year-old Erik Contes drove the woman from the bar to a quiet area near Wehr Mill and Old Sentry roads in South Whitehall Township.
