Carbon County Man Sentenced For Narcotics Trafficking Crime

SCRANTON, PA.- Last Thursday, a 44-year-old Lansford, Pennsylvania, man learned he would be spending over 15 years in federal prison, after being sentenced for distributing methamphetamine within the Middle District of Pennsylvania, specifically in the Carbon County, Pennsylvania area.
On Thursday, April 17, 2025, Jason Mika, 44, Lansford, Pennsylvania, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Karoline Mehalchick to 188 months in federal prison, to be followed by four years of supervised release, after pleading guilty to one count of Possessionwith Intent to Distribute 50 Grams or More of Methamphetamine.
