NORRISTOWN — An inmate at the State Correctional Institution at Phoenix recalled for a jury how he begged for his life as his cellmate, without warning or provocation, violently strangled him.
“He came up behind me and put me in a chokehold,” Jason Joyce told a Montgomery County Court jury on Tuesday as the assault trial for Nathan David Blose got underway, adding he blacked out. “I remember waking up still being choked under the bunk.”
