Federal grand jury indicts 8, including 2 Allentown men, in drug ring worth $600K

Two Allentown men were among eight people recently indicted by a federal grand jury on drug-trafficking charges, which authorities said included dealings worth a total of $600,000.

Marvin “Mace” Rivera, 26, and Chandler George, 34, each were charged with possession with intent to distribute narcotics and weapons offenses.

Authorities said the six other co-defendants, all from Luzerne County, included: Oliver Rivera, 31, of Drums; Mark Reynolds, 57, of Wilkes-Barre; Sherrielee Stout, 32, of Plymouth; Angela Ruggiero, 42, of Hazleton; Joel Fernandez, 34, of Wilkes-Barre; and Eric Konnick, 41, of Edwardsville.
