After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in early August, a longtime mall staple is offering steep discounts at its Lehigh Valley locations.
Claire’s, offering jewelry, cosmetics, accessories and ear piercing, has recently commenced storewide sales at its three Lehigh Valley locations, at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall Township, Palmer Park Mall in Palmer Township and Promenade Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township.
“Store closing” signs have also gone up at the three locations, with a worker at the Palmer Park Mall estimating that the store would be closing within the next couple of months.
Workers at the Lehigh Valley Mall and Promenade Saucon Valley locations said that they were instructed to kick off liquidation sales and install “store closing” signs, but they were not 100% sure that the stores would actually be closing…
