Man who stalked Bucks County woman, put tracking device on her vehicle sentenced

BENSALEM TWP., Pa. – A Montgomery County man who authorities said stalked a Bucks County woman and placed a tracking device on her vehicle has been sentenced.

Common Pleas Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr. sentenced Matthew John Bustin, 34, of King of Prussia, to nine to 23 months in county jail, and seven years of probation, according to a news release from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

During the sentencing hearing on Thursday, Deputy District Attorney Brittney Kern presented a detailed timeline of Bustin’s actions, which included online searches of the Bensalem Township woman before he ever contacted her on a dating site, the DA’s office said…
