ALLENTOWN, Pa. – An Allentown man who carried out an armed robbery spree has learned his sentence.
Rubiel Perez, 31, of Allentown, was sentenced Thursday by United States District Judge Jeffrey L. Schmehl to 15 years in prison and five years of supervised release for the series of robberies in March of 2023, according to a news release from the Department of Justice.
Perez was charged by indictment in November 2023 and pleaded guilty in March of this year to two counts of Hobbs Act robbery, one count of attempted Hobbs Act robbery, and one count of using, carrying, and brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, the DOJ said…
