Dontaue Jackson Charged For Illegally Recording Kids

Dontaue Corey Jackson, 41, of Pottstown, was arrested after investigators discovered he had used his cellphone to record the victims’ testimony during a July 9, habeas corpus hearing for Andrew Lochetto, who is charged with sexually abusing two children, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.

Assistant District Attorney Meghan Carney first became aware of the recording during a prison phone call between Lochetto and Jackson, detectives wrote in the affidavit. In the call, Jackson told Lochetto he had captured the victims’ testimony. Authorities later confirmed through courthouse video surveillance that Jackson was inside Courtroom 11 and appeared to conceal a cellphone under his hat as he exited.

Detectives executed a search warrant on Aug. 12, and seized Jackson’s cellphone. A forensic examination uncovered a 52-minute audio file, timestamped July 9 at 11:02 a.m., containing the children’s testimony in full…
