Hatfield man receives probation for giving false ID to police during traffic stop

NORRISTOWN — A Hatfield Township man was sentenced to probation for giving false information to police during a traffic stop in Hatfield but will remain in jail while awaiting his fate for sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl on multiple occasions in Marlborough Township.

Jason Matthew Hill, 49, of the 800 block of Vassar Drive, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to one year of probation on a misdemeanor charge of giving false identification to a law enforcement officer in connection with the May 30, 2023, traffic stop in Hatfield Township of a vehicle in which Hill was a rear seat passenger.
