108-home development gets preliminary plan approval from Bethlehem Township

BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. – The Bethlehem Township Board of Commissioners granted preliminary subdivision plan approval for a housing development Tuesday night.

The development, known as the Fields at Farmersville, is located at 3107 Farmersville Road and calls for 108 homes on 52 acres. The proposal involved waivers to the township’s SALDO regulations and were requested specifically for the Farmersville Road replacement and culvert and not to the entire subdivision and land development project.

The applicant, represented by Colliers Engineering, maintained their plan “substantially complies with all requirements and upgrading or replacing the existing Farmersville Road culvert is not an applicable SALDO or SMO requirement.”…
