McDonald’s fire in Lower Nazareth caused by possible cigarette, fire official says

A fire temporarily shut down a McDonald’s restaurant Wednesday afternoon at the Northampton Crossings shopping center in Lower Nazareth Township.

Hecktown Fire Company Chief Keith Brooks told lehighvalleylive.com flames ignited just before 2 p.m. at the eatery, 3708 Easton Nazareth Highway, and all patrons and employees evacuated on their own.
