A new Dominican restaurant will offer free desserts, menu specials and more when it opens this weekend in the Lehigh Valley.
Maracas Dominican Restaurant will open at 10 a.m. Saturday at 665 Northampton St. in Easton, General Manager Tiare Luna said, serving free cuatro leches cakes for the first 25 orders and $20 family chicken combos that day.
Using ingredients both from local farmers and the Dominican Republic as much as possible, the menu includes chicken with rice and beans, a hearty stew called sancocho, the plantains dish mofongo, breakfast dishes like mangú and fresh juices from the juice bar…
