Nazareth wrestling legend seeks entry into first-time offender program to get gun charges tossed

Former Nazareth Area High School wrestling standout Sammy Sasso has the backing of the Northampton County district attorney to enter a first-time offender program and have gun charges wiped from his criminal record.

Sammy Sasso, 25, of Upper Nazareth Township, was pulled over for driving with an expired registration July 16 in Nazareth when police found four handguns and THC vape cartridges in the car, according to court records.
