Reading, PA – Authorities in Berks County are asking for the public’s help locating a man who allegedly fled police during a traffic stop and remains wanted on multiple charges.
According to the Berks County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are searching for Steven Swavely, 32, of Limerick, PA, who is accused of fleeing to elude a police officer, recklessly endangering another person, and violating county probation.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, when an Eastern Berks Regional Police officer attempted a traffic stop on Swavely.
