Montgomery Township traffic stop lands man in prison on gun charge

NORRISTOWN — A Philadelphia man was sent to prison after he admitted to illegally possessing a firearm, a crime uncovered during a traffic stop by Montgomery Township police.

Lonelle Robert Fogan, 28, of the 700 block of North 42nd Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 2½ to 6 years in a state correctional facility on charges of carrying a firearm without a license and person to not possess a firearm in connection with a November 2023 incident on Route 309 in Montgomery Township.
