N.J. woman sold fentanyl that killed 21-year-old, cops say

A New Jersey woman sold fentanyl to a 21-year man that led to his overdose death, authorities said.

Shaneshea M. Cooper, 28, of Paterson, was charged this week with strict liability for drug-induced death, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office said Friday.

The man reportedly bought drugs from Cooper in Paterson and a few days later — on July 24 — ingested the fentanyl at his home in the Annandale section of Clinton Township, authorities said…
