Two teens charged after latest in string of Allentown school bomb threats

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Two 14-year-old male students have been charged with felony terroristic threats after a bomb threat triggered a lockdown at William Allen High School late Thursday morning, authorities said.

The threat was reported around 11:30 a.m., prompting an immediate lockdown and emergency response. Allentown police, fire and emergency medical services units conducted a full search of the campus, but no explosives or hazardous materials were found, police said. The school remained evacuated for about 90 minutes before students were allowed to return.
