Norristown man draws prison for distributing fentanyl in borough

NORRISTOWN — A Norristown man is on his way to prison for trafficking fentanyl in the borough.

Joseph Willie Hampton, 44, of the 100 block of West Airy Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 3½ to 7 years in a state correctional institution after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver fentanyl in connection with an incident that occurred in March 2025.
