Fundraiser launched for family displaced by Emmaus duplex fire

EMMAUS, Pa. — A fundraiser is underway for a family that lost their home in a fire that destroyed two residences early Saturday in Emmaus.

Witnesses said the blaze began on the porch of a home in the 200 block of Ridge Street and quickly spread to the adjoining side of the duplex.

Amber Williams, who lived in the neighboring home with her 72-year-old mother, 5-year-old daughter, 18-year-old daughter, 19-year-old son, spouse and dog, said her family lost nearly all their possessions…
