As a native Philadelphian, I truly enjoy exploring the surrounding suburbs. Throughout Bucks and Lancaster county, there are gobs of quaint towns worth exploring that have a plethora of fun shops, great eateries and unique attractions. One of my all-time favorite random “day trip” experiences I’d had was stumbling upon Vampa Vampire Museum in Doyelstown, Pennsylvania in 2024.
The experience was unlike any other museum I have explored. You pull up to a mansion that the curator lives in and sits on the grounds of an old dairy farm that dates back to the 1700s. The land is covered in antique statues and garden sculptures that you can buy for a hefty price. For only $20 a person though, you can get an unlimited amount of time to explore the grounds and museum and there is a lot to see.

The apparently highly controversial Vampa Vampire Museum in Doylestown, PA that I had a great time visiting! There’s a lot to do in the area and it’s a really fun place to visit in the fall #vampires#paranormaltok#doylestown#halloweenvibes#vampireaesthetic

What to expect when you visit the Vampa Museum
The first room you walk into a room filled with artifacts collected from around the world that served as vampire hunting took kits. From ornate chests or intricately fashion daggers, Museum Director and Chief Curator Edmondo Crimi has wall to wall artifacts that explain different areas vampire hunting methods. The walls are full of macabre art and antiques that date back to the 1700s. Room after room tells a story, with different focuses on vampires, ghosts and even Catholicism. The eerie “doll room” see the most paranormal activity according to Crimi.
“Sometimes things will move,” Crimi told WHYY. “I don’t think it’s demonic, necessarily. I think it’s just, you know, activity …Children love to also go into dolls. People like to go into dolls. So it’s just a way of the spirits feeling happy.”…
