WASHINGTON, NJ. – A 2-month investigation into the distribution of heroin in Washington Borough has resulted in the arrest of a 47-year-old New Jersey man, according to the Warren County prosecutor’s office.
Washington Township Police Department executed a search warrant on Thursday in the 200 block of Belvidere Avenue. During the investigation, David J. Gallagher of Washington, New Jersey was identified as the suspect of the narcotics investigation. Officials say David Gallagher was arrested, processed, and lodged in the Warren County Correctional Center, pending the State’s Motion for Pretrial Detention.
Gallagher has been charged with maintaining or operating a controlled dangerous substance production facility to grow marijuana for distribution, a first degree offense, manufacturing of marijuana and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public building, both second degree offenses, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school, possession of a controlled dangerous substance specifically suspected heroin, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, all third degree offenses, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a disorderly person offense…
