Taco lovers, rejoice! Geakers opening a new location

COPLAY, Pa. – If you can’t resist the lure of a legendary Geakers taco, you’re going to be very interested in what’s coming to a small Lehigh County borough in the new year.

The Geake family is announcing a new partnership with the American Club of Coplay (ACC). Geakers will run a new location out of the ACC social hall and bar at 300 Cherry Street.

“It’s a place we want to be,” said Jared Geake, who runs the family business with his parents, Martha and Kevin, along with his wife, Katie. “It’s right in the middle of where we’re the busiest in the summertime with our food truck. Northampton, Whitehall, Schnecksville, those areas are where we usually do the best. So to open up a location smack dab in the middle there, it was a no brainer.”

The menu will be very similar to what Geakers already offers at its existing eateries in Bethlehem Township and the Lehigh Valley Zoo, with the addition of pizza and wings. “That’s a staple at a bar. That’s one of the things they asked us if we could do and, yeah, we can figure that out,” Jared Geake said…
