Gene Weierbach wasn’t at all surprised Tuesday night when North Whitehall’s planning commissioners rejected his effort to change township zoning laws so he can keep the home auto repair business that has supported his family for more than two decades.
“To be continued,” he said at the conclusion of a two-hour hearing in which his attorney unsuccessfully tried to persuade the nine-member board to support a curative amendment that would allow auto repair on residential properties.
