Philadelphia, PA – A surge of Arctic air settles over eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey today before briefly lifting on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly. Highs today will reach only the upper 20s to lower 30s, with temperatures moderating into the 40s Tuesday for much of the region.

According to forecasters, a developing low-pressure system will move into the Mid-Atlantic on Wednesday, bringing rain and snow, with snowfall most likely north of I-78 and mixed precipitation possible down to the I-95 corridor, including Philadelphia, Trenton, and Wilmington.
