Dorney Park hosts ‘Heroes for the Holidays’ event for students and first responders

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom welcomed 36 local students and more than 60 first responders and volunteers Tuesday for its annual Heroes for the Holidays event, offering a day of connection, celebration and community support.

Held inside White Water Tavern, the event featured a warm holiday meal, gift-wrapping activities and opportunities for students to engage with police officers, firefighters, EMTs, school representatives and community organizations in a positive environment.

Participating partners included South Whitehall Township Police, Pennsylvania State Police, Cetronia Ambulance Corps & Volunteer Fire Department, Upper Macungie Township Police, Parkland School District, Parkland CARES and volunteers.
