From New Hope To Hollywood: Rob Reiner’s Bucks County Roots Resurface Amid Homicide Probe

Reiner was born March 6, 1947, in the Bronx, New York, to comedy legend Carl Reiner and actress Estelle Reiner. He spent much of his childhood in New Rochelle, New York, according to Encyclopedia Britannica.

Before achieving national recognition, Reiner spent time in Pennsylvania, including working at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, a historic regional theater known for launching stage and screen talent, according to the playhouse. That experience came early in his career and predated his rise to fame in television and film.
