A 45-year-old man who fled the country after being charged with sexually assaulting three girls in Warminster Township has been returned to Bucks County to face charges, District Attorney Jennifer Schorn announced, Friday.
Noel Angel Yanes, of Norristown Road, Warminster Township, was arrested in El Salvador on January 8, 2025, and extradited to the United States on last Wednesday . Yanes initially fled the country after charges were filed in February 2024. He was arraigned early Thursday by Magisterial District Judge Maggie Snow and was remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility under $500,000 bail, 10 percent, county authorities said.
Schorn emphasized the commitment of law enforcement in a joint statement: “The capture and return of Noel Angel Yanes is a testament to the relentless pursuit of justice by all agencies involved. To those who commit crimes against the most vulnerable and believe they can evade accountability by fleeing across borders, this should serve as a clear message: you will be found, apprehended, and brought back to face the consequences of your actions.”…
