Nicole Daley, of Palmer Township, was arrested following an investigation into alleged financial elder abuse involving three victims, ages 90, 88, and 84, according to District Attorney Stephen G. Baratta.
The investigation began on Nov. 10, when Bethlehem Township police were dispatched to Hope Ridge Drive for a reported theft involving a 90-year-old woman, authorities said. Daley served as the victim’s at-home care assistant from July through September, during which time 11 checks totaling $6,700 were written to Daley’s husband with forged signatures, police said.
Prosecutors said Daley also made more than $2,000 in unauthorized credit card purchases, stole $5,000 in cash, and took multiple pieces of jewelry from the victim’s home…
