Superintendent: Phillipsburg School District schools resume normal operations after bomb threat; no explosives found

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. – All schools in the Phillipsburg School District in New Jersey have resumed normal operations after a bomb threat Wednesday, according to a Facebook post from District Superintendent Gregory Troxell.

All schools in the district have now been removed from shelter in place status, Troxell said in the post.

At approximately 9:29 a.m., the Phillipsburg Police Department received a phone call from an unknown male stating that he intended to harm individuals at Phillipsburg High School, Troxell said…
