Shelter-in-Place Lifted At Phillipsburg High School After Bomb Threat: Superintendent

At 9:29 a.m., the Phillipsburg police received a call from an unknown man stating he intended to harm people at Phillipsburg High School, Phillipsburg School District Gregory Troxell said. The man also made a bomb threat, Troxell said.

All schools were immediately placed in a shelter in place while law enforcement began their investigation, Troxell said.

Due to the bomb threat, K-9 bomb units were brought to Phillipsburg High School to ensure the building was free of any explosive devices, Troxell said…
