ASD introduces new threat assessment policy

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Allentown School District has a new policy about how it assesses threats.

“We’re just making sure that we’re not only in compliance with state requirements, but at the same time, you know, we’re doing everything that we can to make sure that when threats are made and when the safety of our school communities are put at risk, that we do everything that we can to ensure that the threats are mitigated and that we keep students as safe as possible,” said Eric Rosa, ASD’s director of safety and security.
