Dunderbak’s at the Lehigh Valley Mall may have found a path to remain open beyond its planned February 2026 closure date.
Owner Bill Baker announced in a Facebook post that the restaurant is in discussions with interested parties about purchasing the business. If a sale moves forward, the transition to new ownership will likely occur after the original target date of Feb. 28, 2026.
“We are in discussions with interested parties for the purchase of Dunderbak’s at the Lehigh Valley Mall,” Baker wrote on the restaurant’s Facebook page. “It is likely that should any of these inquiries lead to the sale of the restaurant, that the transition to new ownership will be after our target date of February 28, 2026.
