Major Winter Storm Predicted In Multiple US Regions

A major winter storm of snow and ice is forecast for the upper Midwest on Thursday (December 25) and move through the lower Northeast on Friday (December 26) and conclude by Saturday (December 27) morning, ABC News reports.

Freezing rain is expected throughout northern Minneapolis and Wisconsin Thursday night and reach Michigan Friday morning, before moving into western and central Pennsylvania. The majority of freezing rain and ice accumulation is expected in central and western Pennsylvania.

Snow flurries are expected to be present in New York City as early as 12:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, though most forecast snowfall to begin just after 4:00 p.m. and continue through the night in the city, as well as upstate New York, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island and parts of Massachusetts, though Boston isn’t forecast to get significant snow…
