Jennifer Schimer, 47, was arrested after Nazareth police stopped her vehicle on East Center Street when officers observed her fail to stop at a posted stop sign at 7:18 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, according to police.
During the investigation, officers suspected Schimer was driving under the influence of alcohol, authorities said. Police also discovered the vehicle had an expired registration and that a child inside was not properly secured in a required booster seat.
