Man charged with DWI after disabled truck report in Hunterdon County

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — A Neshanic Station man was charged with driving while intoxicated after police responded to a report of a disabled pickup truck on a Readington Township roadway, authorities said.

Police said officers were dispatched Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026, at about 10:48 a.m. to County Route 629 near Hendrick Road for a report of a disabled motor vehicle.

When officers arrived, they found a Dodge Ram pickup truck disabled in a lane of travel, police said. The driver was identified as Edward Ciempola of Neshanic Station, according to authorities…
