Walnutport Police Investigate McDonald’s Hot Tea Attack

A McDonald’s drive-thru visit in Pennsylvania took an “unhappy meal” turn after a customer allegedly threw hot tea on an employee, police said.

The incident happened shortly after 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, when a man pulled into the McDonald’s drive-thru and removed the lid from his cup of hot tea while at the window, according to the Walnutport Police Department.

He then threw the hot liquid at a young female employee working the drive-thru window, resulting in her seeking medical attention, the police explained…
