Latest snow totals: Many places closing in on a half of foot of snow as of late morning…more to come

As of late Sunday morning, many places are closing in on 6 inches of snow, with Boyertown in Berks County (7″) leading the way from all the recent snow reports from the National Weather Service.

With snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour at times through early to mid-afternoon, it’s tough to keep these snow totals up to date. Most of the totals pictured below were taken between 10am and 11am Sunday morning. New totals are coming in as storm spotters measure them, so check back periodically throughout the day for more updated totals as the snow continues to pile up.

A total of 8 to 12 inches of snow and sleet is still expected south of the I-78 corridor, where a mixing with and change to sleet is likely this afternoon. A total of 12 to 16 inches of snow is still expected north of I-78, especially from the Northern Lehigh Valley through the Poconos and North Jersey…
